Why can't I add a filing party in LASC?

Court limitations on adding new parties for certain document types

In some instances, the Los Angeles Superior Court has chosen to not allow users to add a new filing party when filing certain document types. These documents are dictated by the Court and not editable by One Legal.

Examples of documents that cannot add a party upon filing are:

  • Motion for Leave to Intervene

If you believe you have selected a document type where it should be possible to add a new filing party, please contact the Court for more information.
