How do I request a skip trace or stakeout?

How to locate and serve parties that are difficult to find

If you aren't sure of your recipient's location, add a skip trace service to your process serving order. Also known as a locate service, we take the last-known address and other basic information and conduct in-depth research on the subject for you.

We send you a list of all addresses the party has been linked to, and you choose the strategy for getting the serve.

To request a skip trace service, simply add it to your order after you entered all of the information necessary for the party you would like One Legal to serve.

Adding a stakeout

For more challenging serves, you can also add a stakeout to have our process servers wait for the recipient at the location. Include any special instructions that will help get you a successful serve soon.
